Gum disease or periodontal disease is an infection of the gums, bone and periodontal ligaments. Periodontal disease is often silent and painless until the advanced stages. Regular dental exams can help detect the disease at its earliest signs.
Possible indications of Gum Disease may include:
*Bleeding gums
*Swollen, tender or red gums
*Shrinking gums
*Loose or mobile teeth
*Bad breath
*Pus between gums & teeth
*Expanding spaces between teeth
