Crowns
Crowns are laboratory fabricated & cover the entire visible surface of the tooth. Crowns often serve as the best solution to restoring teeth that are cracked, fractured, broken, have recurrent decay or have been root canal treated. A crown can restore teeth to their original shape, strengthen teeth, improve cosmetics, and add stability. They can be made of porcelain, metal or a combination of both. Crowns usually require two visits to complete: one to prepare the tooth and take an impression and a second to cement the crown into place.
