The loss of one or more teeth can have a major impact of your dental health and personal appearance. Teeth rely and support one another in the mouth; when one or more are missing the surrounding teeth can shift and move out of place. Bridges are permanent prosthetics fabricated to replace missing teeth. The teeth on either side of the space are used as anchors to hold the bridge in place. The process for fabricating a bridge is much like that of a crown and usually occurs in 1-2 visits. Bridges can restore function, increase bite stability and improve aesthetics.
