RDH

Amanda, RDH, has been practicing in the dental field since 2003. She graduated from Cape Fear Community College Dental Assisting Program in 2003 and worked for a successful private practice until 2007. Amanda went on to accomplish her goal of becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist from Coastal Carolina Community College. She graduated in 2009. Amanda is dedicated to providing exceptional care and education. She is a native of the Delco, NC community, but she resides in Burgaw, NC. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves the outdoors and traveling.

Cindy has been in the medical field for over 13 years with 3 years experience in the dental field. She is part of our front office team and she loves helping patients get the most out of their visits to our practice. She resides in Whiteville, NC with her husband and two children. She loves spending time with family and friends.

LaToya is from Tar Heel NC. She now resides in Carvers Creek NC with her husband. She has been in the dental field for 8yrs. LaToya recently married and she loves spending time with her family and great friends. She is part of our front office team who help make our patients total experience with Leland Family Dentistry a pleasant visit.

DA II

Maria was born in Los Angeles, California. She has been living in Clinton North Carolina since 1999. She has been a dental assistant since 2004 and she speaks Spanish. As an assistant she has done voluntary work, participated in Health Fairs, worked on dental mobile buses and with programs like Give Kids a Smile. She likes to take continuing education classes to advance her knowledge and skills. She has two children and she loves spending time with them and her husband at the beach in the summer. She enjoys being a Dental Assistant and she receives much joy from seeing people smile.

DA II

Mirinda was born and raised in Leland, NC and graduated from Dental Assisting at Cape Fear Community College in July 2010. She spent 13 years of her life dancing. She explored and gained knowledge in dance styles such as clogging, river dance, hip hop, jazz, and modern. Besides hip hop, clogging is by far her favorite style of dance. She loves dogs, the beach, and listening to live bands. She enjoys spending time with her wonderful family and playing the guitar.

DA II

Tammie started working in the dental field in 2004 as a DA II. She wanted to further her knowledge and career so she took the test and became a Certified Dental Assistant. She lives in Delco, NC with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys relaxing at home and spending time with family and friends.

Wendy lives in Riegelwood, NC with her awesome son. She has been in dentistry for 14 years with 10 years of chair side experience. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, boating, and riding her motorcycle.
