Dr. Benjamin V. Koren grew up in Durham, North Carolina where he attended Jordan High School.  He went on and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 
Dr. Koren was accepted to the University of North Carolina’s prestigious dental program and completed his Doctoral of Dental Surgery degree in 1999.  He then was chosen to be part of the Health Professions Scholarship Program sponsored by the United States Air Force.  He completed a post doctoral study in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Barksdale Air Force, Louisiana and went on to practice two years at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.  While serving his country for three years in the United States Air Force, Dr. Koren earned the National Defense Service Medal.  Read more...

Dr. Claypoole lives with his family in Durham, NC. He joined the wonderful Creedmoor Team in December 2006 bringing 8 years of experience.
Dr. Claypoole is a 1999 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. He prides himself on providing quality individualized care for each patient. He enjoys working out at the gym and spending time with his children.

Dr. Collins is originally from Mandeville, Louisiana but moved to Cary, North Carolina in June 2010. She joined the Roxboro Team in November 2011. She attended LSU in Baton Rouge where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, graduating summa cum laude. After undergrad, Dr. Collins attended LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans where she graduated first in her class earning the LSU School of Dentistry Chancellor’s Award.

After practicing dentistry in Louisiana, Dr. Collins moved to North Carolina with her husband, Andrew, a pediatric resident at Duke University, and her dog, Sadie. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. Dr. Collins enjoys spending time with her husband and friends and traveling back home to Louisiana to visit her family.

Dr. Rahul Sachdev is a native of Wake County where he attended North Carolina State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1993. Dr. Sachdev earned his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry in 2000 and his post doctorate in advanced general dentistry in 2001. Dr. Sachdev recently moved back to NC after practicing in a high paced cosmetic practice in New York City for 5 years. Dr. Sachdev has been with Pittsboro Family Dentistry since it opened its doors in March 2007. He has received several awards through out his career including the Tiffany & Company Gold Medal Award for the graduating class at NYU and the Special Patient Care Award for his work with patient having developmental and anxiety disorders. Dr. Sachdev can communicate with his patients in English, Hindi or Spanish. Dr. Sachdev regularly attends continuing education classes in order to bring his patients the most current and effective treatment methods that will serve their dental needs.  Read "Something to Smile About"

Dr. Sheikh is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. She joined the Roxboro Team in October 2011. Her interest in academia and research led her to complete a Master of Science in Operative Dentistry in addition to completing her DDS. She has done extensive research on dental materials, with two publications on composite resins and their adhesive abilities. During her post-graduate studies, she received the Ann & G. Randolph Babcock Fellowship Award, which secured additional funding for her research. Her clinical interests are in esthetic rehabilitation, reconstructing a patient's smile, and giving them a new outlook on life. As an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UNC School of Dentistry, she continues to devote herself to her students, helping them develop clinical skills they will utilize for the lifetime of their career. She is also an active member of North Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Sheikh grew up in Wisconsin amongst a family of seven, and was inspired to become a dentist by her father, who has been practicing dentistry in Wisconsin for over 25 years. She enjoys golf, tennis, and spending time with her son and husband. She looks forward to meeting the patients at Roxboro Family Dentistry, and is willing to go above and beyond to provide the dental treatment her patients’ desire.
